There are daily flights to Hoedspruit Airport (HDS) with Airlink that fly from a number of places including Cape Town (CPT - 2.5 hour flight) or Johannesburg (JNB - 1 hour flight).
When you arrive at HDS, a road-transfer of approximately 1 hour will take you to the lodge. This can be self-drive, or we will collect you and take you to the lodge.
Guests can also do a 6hr self-drive from Johannesburg.
There is also an option to fly directly to the lodge airstrip with Fedair, at a premium.

My husband and I were guests at Rockfig a couple weeks ago. I wanted to reach out and share how wonderful our stay was. You were our first of two safari lodges and we didn't really know what to expect. And man did your team set the bar high!
Every aspect of the service and experience was exceptional. Each team member was personal and professional and made us feel like family during our stay. The activities throughout the week were thoughtful, and it was always exciting to do something a little different, whether that was breakfast in the bush or a braai for dinner - we loved how the schedule was curated each day. The food and drink were incredible, each meal better than the last. We also loved the family style dining option, feeling like we were at the coolest adult summer camp during our stay.
Finally, I want to specifically call out our guide Liam. The amount of knowledge he had on the animals and environment was amazing, and we truly appreciated his passion when sharing with us. We learned SO much thanks to him and his guiding style, and loved seeing how he worked with our tracker Eddie, and the other guides to make each drive memorable.
As I mentioned, we went on to another lodge following our stay with you and while the experience was still nice, the quality of service and food, warmth of experience, and personal skills of the staff did not compare to Rockfig. I found myself frequently wishing we were back with you all!
